Opening your first capsule

Peel, crack, reveal: a step-by-step for first-time collectors so nothing tiny goes missing under the sofa.

Clear a tray

Minis are tiny and love to roll. Open capsules over a tray, a baking sheet or a shallow box lid so every piece — and every accessory — stays in sight.

Peel the outer wrap

Each capsule is wrapped in a printed foil. Peel it off in one go; some series hide the collector's checklist on the inside of the wrap.

Twist the ball into halves

Capsules open in two halves along the seam. Twist gently rather than pulling, and the halves will separate cleanly — they make useful mini display domes afterwards.

Unwrap each mini bag

Inside you'll find small sealed bags. Open one at a time and check it against the checklist before moving on — the reveal is half the fun.

Keep the capsule

Empty halves stack neatly and are made from certified recycled plastic. Many collectors use them for storing small accessories, or recycle them where facilities allow.
